Art, the edges…and the outside. Fernand Deligny’s endeavors – Roundtable at SESC Pompeia

To close the exhibition “Places of Delirium” at Sesc Pompeia, on June 27 and 28, we will host an event focused on the theme of art and its relations with madness. There will be four debate panels that will serve as a conference platform for professionals from psychiatric and artistic institutions to propose, discuss and create new working models, crossing their fields of work.

At the table “Art, the edges…and the outside.” Fernand Deligny’s endeavors, will be presented by Mariana Louver, Maria Alice Poppe and Marlon Miguel. Mediation: Tânia Rivera.

Venue: Espaço da Convivência.

Mariana Louver Mendes is an occupational therapist, Master in Aesthetics and Art History at MAC/USP, professor at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP). She works in the area of mental health, alcohol and drugs, and in projects at the interface of arts and culture with social and health fields.

Maria Alice Poppe is a dancer and teacher graduated in classical ballet, modern and contemporary dance, and has a degree in Dance from Faculdade Angel Vianna.

Marlon Miguel Marlon Miguel holds a doctorate in fine arts and philosophy from the Université Paris 8 VincennesSaint-Denis, co-supervised by UFRJ.

Tânia Rivera PhD in Psychology from the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium, she did her post-doctorate in Visual Languages at the School of Fine Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is an essayist, psychoanalyst, and professor in the Department of Art and in the Post-Graduation in Contemporary Art Studies at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF).
